Genk eyes Nigerian striker Durosinmi for €10m summer move as Pisa demands €10.5m
Belgian Pro League club KRC Genk are interested in signing Nigerian striker Rafiu Durosinmi this summer, according to DAILY POST citing Belgian outlet Het Nieuwsblad. Genk have offered €10 million for the 23-year-old, but his current club Pisa are demanding €10.5 million euros.
Durosinmi only joined Pisa from Czech side Viktoria Plzen in January 2026, shortly before the Italian club suffered relegation from Serie A. The Nigerian international is now being tipped to follow in the footsteps of former Super Eagles strikers Paul Onuachu and Tolu Arokodare, who both made significant impacts during their spells at Genk's Cegeka Arena.
With the summer transfer window underway, this move could see Durosinmi join a club where Nigerian strikers have historically thrived. Pisa's relegation status and the €500,000 fee gap between offer and demand may determine whether the deal materializes before the window closes.
Will Durosinmi's potential move to Genk boost his Super Eagles prospects, and should Nigerian fans expect him to replicate Onuachu and Arokodare's goal-scoring form in Belgium?
