Gospel singer Titilope "Baptista" Baptist-Sanusi has featured Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) founder Daniel Olukoya on her latest album "I Won." The collaboration appears on track "Yea & Amen," which premiered December 26, 2025—her birthday. In a PREMIUM TIMES interview Monday, Baptista described the partnership as a spiritual milestone, noting she's the first and only artist to feature Olukoya on a song. She said the MFM General Overseer's voice, commonly heard in prayers and teachings during church services, represents spiritual authority and divine timing. "It reflects a passing on of grace, values, and spiritual DNA," Baptista stated, describing the feature as both spiritual backing and endorsement from her spiritual father. The album emerged from seven challenging years that Baptista said she quietly endured through prayer and pain. Recorded between 2023 and 2025, "I Won" evolved from "broken prayers to bold declarations" as she processed survival through music. Each lyric reminded her of moments she didn't think she'd survive. Baptista said God used the waiting period to prepare a sound that could only come from endurance, turning her pain into testimony. The collaboration bridges the Word, prayer, and music, declaring that sound itself can be ministry. Does this feature reflect how faith communities are expanding gospel music's reach beyond traditional church walls, or does it represent something deeper about spiritual mentorship passing authority to a new generation?
