Governor Uzodimma appoints RHA leaders including governors Sani and Yahaya ahead of 2027 polls
Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State, as Director-General of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA), has approved key appointments to strengthen the organisation's structure ahead of the 2027 general elections. The RHA, established in November 2025 per NAN reports, serves as a platform to disseminate the Tinubu administration's programmes and policies across states.
Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State is appointed deputy director-general, while Governor Mohammed Yahaya of Gombe State serves as secretary with James Faleke as deputy secretary. Other key appointments include Mustapha Abdullahi (Energy Commission DG) heading Youth Directorate, Olisa Metuh leading Organisation and Mobilisation, Tunde Rahman as media and publicity director, and Sunday Dare overseeing digital and new media. Additional directors cover finance, legal, technology, welfare, administration, women affairs, diaspora, and research portals.
The appointments reflect a deliberate effort to build a broad-based structure capable of engaging Nigerians at all levels, with six zonal coordinators, 37 state coordinators, and 774 local government coordinators forming the RHA's operational framework. This organisational strengthening comes as the Tinubu administration seeks to communicate its renewed hope agenda nationwide in preparation for the 2027 electoral cycle.
With these appointments now in place, how might citizens assess whether this structured dissemination of government policies will translate into tangible improvements in their communities ahead of the 2027 elections?
