HiPP brand recalling entire line of baby food jars sold at SPAR Austria after detecting possible tampering with a hazardous substance that could be fatal if consumed. The affected product is "HiPP Carrot/Potato – 190 grams" identified by a white label with a red circle on the bottom of the jar. Customers are urged not to consume the product and return it to the store of purchase immediately. Police in Austria's Burgenland region have launched an investigation into the tampering incident but have not released details about the nature of the substance or how the contamination occurred. This follows a similar recall earlier this year when Danone withdrew more than 120 batches of infant milk formula from Austrian and German markets.
