House mandates electronic election result transmission

The Senate passed a differing version of the bill, requiring a committee to harmonize positions including House and Senate members. While the committee met to resolve differences, INEC announced the electoral timetable. The mandatory transmission requires presiding officers to electronically send results to the IREV portal.
