ICT Sector Boosts Nigeria's GDP by 10.07% in Q4 2025
Nigeria's ICT sector contributed 10.07% to real GDP in Q4 2025, up from 9.79% in 2024. Telecoms alone accounted for 7.29% of this growth, with the sector expanding 26.34% year-on-year. The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) data shows telecom growth accelerated from 17.97% in Q4 2024 to 26.34% in Q4 2025. Nigeria's telecom regulator aims to push sector contribution to 25% through new policies. NBS reports overall GDP growth of 4.07% in Q4 2025, indicating stronger economic expansion.
