Iran on Monday ruled out ceasefire talks amid daily US and Israeli strikes. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei stated Iran did not start the war and was negotiating when attacked. ‘Military aggression is ongoing,’ Baghaei said. ‘There is little place to talk about anything other than defense and a crushing response.’ US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth stated America could use heavier bombs like 2,000-pound weapons to force Iran’s surrender. In Bahrain, Bapco Energies declared force majeure after an Iranian drone hit its Sitra refinery. Kuwait and QatarEnergy halted operations. Oil prices could rise above $200 per barrel as the conflict escalates.
