Israel warns Europe of extremist ideology penetration
Israel's Ministry for Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism published a report detailing significant extremist ideology penetration into terrorist groups targeting Jewish communities in Europe. The report identifies extensive networks linked to the Muslim Brotherhood across Austria, Belgium, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland. Intelligence services and Western governments view these groups as inherently anti-democratic, with direct or indirect connections to terrorist entities like Hamas. Despite awareness of the risks, some governments maintain official dialogue with controversial Brotherhood bodies. Minister Chikli declared the Brotherhood a conduit for extremism, not a civil society movement, urging Europe to 'wake up' as the movement seeks to Islamize the continent through deceptive moderation.
