Iwobi suffers hamstring injury in Fulham draw with Brentford

Alex Iwobi was forced off with a hamstring injury during Fulham's 1-1 draw with Brentford on Saturday. The Nigeria international limped off feeling his hamstring shortly before half-time and was replaced by teammate Samuel Chukwueze in the London derby.

This is concerning for Fulham as they continue their push for European qualification. The 29-year-old has been crucial this season, contributing four goals and three assists in 27 league appearances. It was Iwobi's 255th Premier League start for the club.

Manager Marco Silva will be hoping it's not a serious injury as Fulham competes for European competition spots. The timing couldn't be worse with the season approaching its crucial phase.
