JAMB Releases 279 Withheld UTME Results Amid Malpractice Probe

JAMB has released 279 previously withheld UTME results after investigating suspected examination malpractices. The board's Public Communication Advisor, Fabian Benjamin, announced the release on Thursday in Abuja.

Some results were cancelled after evidence of malpractice was established, while others were released because no prima facie case was found against affected candidates. Results from centers with suspicious activities remain withheld pending further investigation.

Candidates whose results weren't released can check their status by texting 'UTMERESULT' to 55019 or 66019 using the same phone number used for registration. The UTME was conducted nationwide between April 16-25 at accredited computer-based test centers, affecting hundreds of thousands of prospective university students nationwide.
