Former Chelsea captain John Terry mocked Arsenal after their 3-2 loss to Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday. The defeat means Arsenal have now conceded 17 goals this season, surpassing the 15 goals Chelsea conceded in their record-setting 2004/2005 campaign. Terry, who played a key role in that Chelsea defence under Jose Mourinho, posted on Instagram: "The record is safe for another year." He added, celebrating with former defensive teammates: "So Petr Cech, Paolo Maldini, Ricky Carvalho, William Gallas, it's time to celebrate with a bottle or a glass of red wine." The loss at the Emirates Stadium adds to Arsenal's defensive struggles this season, with critics pointing to systemic issues. This result continues a poor run of form for the Gunners, who are now 17 goals worse off defensively compared to the legendary Chelsea side that won the league. The focus for Arsenal will be on tightening their backline and preventing further record-breaking defensive frailty in upcoming matches.
