John Terry has mocked Arsenal after their 3-2 defeat to Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday. The three goals conceded means Arsenal have now conceded 17 goals this season, officially exceeding the 15 goals Chelsea conceded in their record-breaking 2004/2005 campaign. Terry, who played a key role in that Chelsea defence under Jose Mourinho, wrote on Instagram: "The record is safe for another year." The 44-year-old also mentioned former Chelsea defensive teammates, saying, "So Petr Cech, Paolo Maldini, Ricky Carvalho, William Gallas, it's time to celebrate with a bottle or a glass of red wine." The defeat adds to pressure on Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, with former player turned pundit Patrick Vieira and fans like Piers Morgan already criticizing the performance. Chelsea's 2004/05 defensive record of 15 goals conceded across 38 games remains one of the most famous achievements in Premier League history. With Arsenal now at 17 goals conceded with many games still to play, they have already surpassed that historic mark.
