She noted his character was topless with no bra visible, that he did not show any erection, and described him as a thorough gentleman who remained reassuring, adding communication was vital on set.
The scene reignited online debate about Etim-Effiong’s frequent on-screen romantic roles, with netizens arguing his kissing scenes are too much for a married man and warning that feelings can develop. In response, Etim-Effiong said he prays before such scenes, kneeling for inspiration from God, and views his work as an act of worship, citing the biblical story of Adam tending the garden.
Blood Sisters 2, produced by EbonyLife Studios with backing from media entrepreneur Mo Abudu, has become one of Netflix’s most talked-about Nigerian originals.
