Adamu died on Saturday evening at the Teaching Hospital, Lokoja, following a brief illness. A statement on Sunday by Kingsley Femi Fanwo, Commissioner for Information and Communications in Kogi State, said the government described the late jurist as a distinguished pillar of the judiciary whose commitment to justice, integrity, and the rule of law earned him widespread respect within and outside the legal community. The governor said the late judge left behind a legacy of service and commitment to justice that would continue to inspire future generations in the legal profession. He extended condolences on behalf of the government and people of the state to the family of the deceased, the Kogi State Judiciary, and all those affected by the loss. His remains will be buried according to Islamic rites in Igalamela/Odolu on Sunday.
