Marseille set to move on Nnadi in January window
Olympique Marseille will decide Tochukwu Nnadi's future during the January transfer window, with the club ready to sell or loan the 23-year-old defensive midfielder. Nnadi joined from Belgian side Zulte Waregem in January 2025 but managed only eight appearances in the second half of last season and has struggled for minutes in the current campaign.
The Super Eagles prospect is not considered indispensable by Marseille management, according to Get French Football News. A move away would give Nnadi regular playing time—critical for forcing his way into Nigeria's squad calculations ahead of upcoming qualifiers and tournaments.
Marseille's stance suggests they'll accept a permanent transfer or sanction a loan deal. For Nnadi, consistent club football at this stage of his career matters more than sitting on the bench at a Ligue 1 club. Several European clubs could offer the platform he needs.
Where Nnadi lands in January could define his international trajectory for the next cycle.
