The Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy, Dr. 'Bosun Tijani, visited the Obafemi Awolowo University campus on Thursday, January 15, 2026. He was there to deliver the "Distinguished Personality Lecture Series," a high-profile event that drew significant attention from the university community. During his visit, the university management also honored him with a Distinguished Personality Award.

In his address, Dr. Tijani challenged the students and young innovators to shift their mindset from complaining about Nigeria's challenges to actively creating solutions.
