Mother, son escape death as Lexus SUV overturns in Lagos

A mother and her son narrowly escaped death on Wednesday morning after a Lexus SUV somersaulted three times at the NYSC bus stop along LASU-Isheri Expressway in Lagos. The vehicle, registration KJA 39 JT, lost control while moving from Isheri to Igando, overturning before stopping between busy traffic. LASTMA confirmed the accident, with officials quickly rescuing the victims who sustained visible bruises and mild injuries. The Nigeria Police Force secured the scene as the family took the victims for medical care. LASTMA GM Bakare-Oki praised the rescue effort, warning motorists to avoid overspeeding and regularly check critical safety parts like brakes to prevent similar tragedies.
