Mourinho names Arsenal best Champions League team after Roma win

Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho declared Arsenal the best team in the Champions League after his side's 4-3 comeback win over Roma on Wednesday. Mourinho said Real now have six points from their first two group matches, having beaten Inter Milan before the international break and Roma in their latest outing. He added that while Real are performing well, Arsenal remains the team to beat in the competition.

The comment matters to Nigerian football fans following the Champions League because it highlights Arsenal as a current frontrunner, shaping expectations for the knockout stages and influencing discussions about potential winners. With many Nigerians supporting Premier League clubs, Mourinho's endorsement could affect fan sentiment and viewing priorities for the upcoming group matches.

Real Madrid will next face RB Leipzig, AEK Athens and PSV before traveling to London to meet Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on December 9. That fixture will be a direct test of Mourinho's claim. Will you tune in to see if Arsenal can back up the praise on the pitch, or will Real Madrid prove the manager wrong in their December clash?
