Mr P changes birthday to Nov 30 amid P-Square family feud, cuts Nov 18 ties
Peter Okoye (Mr P) has officially changed his date of birth from November 18 to November 30, severing the shared birthday with his twin brother Paul Okoye (Rudeboy) amid their ongoing family feud. The singer announced the change on X, stating he will no longer accept messages or gifts on November 18 and that his birthday will now be celebrated solely on November 30 as a personal decision.
This move comes after Peter explicitly severed ties with his family in June 2025, declaring 'we are no longer family at this point' and accusing his elder brother Jude's wife Ifeoma of misappropriating $1 million and £34,537 from their joint company Northside Music Ltd. Peter had previously told courts in May 2025 that Ifeoma owns 80% of Northside Music while Jude holds 20%, and revealed he filed an EFCC petition in January 2024 over royalty disputes involving 47 bank accounts.
While the birthday change is a personal symbolic act reflecting the depth of the estrangement, it underscores the public nature of the P-Square brothers' conflict that has played out through legal battles, financial allegations, and social media exchanges since their professional split. The situation remains unresolved with no indication of reconciliation between the twins.
