MSSN honors ex-JAMB boss Oloyede for integrity-driven leadership: N8bn remittance in first year
MSSN honored former JAMB Registrar Is-haq Oloyede on Tuesday for his decade-long leadership of the examination board, describing it as a model of integrity and accountable public service. The civic reception themed 'The Oloyede Blueprint' highlighted how his tenure transformed JAMB's revenue remittance to nearly N8 billion in his first year—up from less than N50 million over the previous 40 years—while strengthening public confidence in Nigeria's tertiary admission system.
The event celebrated Oloyede's introduction of computer-based testing at University of Ilorin in 2008 (later adopted by JAMB), his current role as NSCIA Secretary-General, and national honors including CON and UNESCO's 2022 award for equal opportunity advocacy.
