NAFDAC Warns of Counterfeit Avastin, Tecentriq in Nigerian Market
NAFDAC confirms counterfeit batches of Avastin (400mg) with batch numbers H4239A70, H2290A34, A3508B02 and Tecentriq (1200mg) with batch B3071A12 are circulating nationwide. The fake drugs, sold at NGN 180,000-350,000, pose life-threatening risks including treatment failure and death. Roche Nigeria reported suspicious vials from unauthorized sources, revealing differences in packaging, serial numbers, and artwork.
