Nigerian Aviation Handling Company (NAHCO) Plc reported 22.2% net profit growth to N10.85 billion for first half 2026 (ended June 30), up from N8.88 billion in H1 2025. Gross revenue rose to N35.36 billion from N32.33 billion year-on-year, driven by strong performance across all business lines including aircraft handling (N22.13bn, up from N20.57bn), cargo handling (N6.3bn, 31% growth), and agricultural products exports (N2.08bn, up from N1.42bn).

Operating profit increased 25.4% to N14.593 billion while profit before tax grew 21.8% to N14.37 billion. The results supported increased shareholder returns—NAHCO raised cash dividend to N12.18 billion for 2025 business year (N6.25 per share, up from N5.94) and issued bonus shares at 1 for every 7 held, increasing outstanding shares by 14.3% to 2.228 billion. Chairman Dr Seinde Fadeni credited strategic investments in warehouses, equipment and human capital for sustaining growth amid macroeconomic changes.

Group MD Mr Olumuyiwa Olumekun emphasized NAHCO's focus on quality expansion and operational excellence, noting the group continues to leverage its efficient model to convert growth opportunities into shareholder returns. With adjusted basic earnings per share improving to N4.87 (from N4.55), the company maintains capacity for robust dividend payouts despite share increase from bonus issue.

Given NAHCO's consistent growth trajectory and strengthened balance sheet (total assets N53.88bn, shareholders' funds N26.497bn), will you consider this aviation/logistics leader for long-term investment given its dividend growth and export-linked revenue streams, or do you see better opportunities elsewhere in Nigeria's recovering non-oil sector?
