Nasarawa Amazons, Abia Angels secure NWFL Super Six playoff spots

Nasarawa Amazons and Abia Angels have qualified for the Nigeria Women Football League Super Six playoff tournament after crucial matches in Group B. Nasarawa Amazons defeated Sunshine Queens 2-1 at Lafia City Stadium, while Abia Angels sealed their spot with a goalless draw against Dannaz Ladies. Both teams secured their advancement with one regular season match remaining. Nasarawa Amazons currently sit on 32 points, while Abia Angels have 28 points from 17 matches. FC Robo Queens have also already qualified from Group B. Remo Stars Ladies missed out on playoff contention after suffering a 3-0 defeat to Delta Queens. The final matches will see Nasarawa Amazons face FC Robo Queens, while Abia Angels will play Ahudianyem Queens.
