NiDCOM Issues Emergency Hotlines for Nigerians in Middle East
Nigerians in or travelling through the Middle East can now access emergency consular support from the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) following rising tensions from the Iran-related conflict. The commission released dedicated hotline numbers for its diplomatic missions in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Kuwait, Tel Aviv, Doha, Beirut, Riyadh, Jeddah, and Amman. Nigerians are urged to save these numbers and immediately contact their nearest mission in cases of distress or emergency. The advisory also recommends Nigerians abroad remain vigilant, follow local safety instructions, and stay in close touch with Nigerian embassies for updates. This follows mounting concerns about the safety of foreign nationals across Gulf and Levant countries amid the evolving security situation.
