Nigeria, Morocco Sign Revised Air Services Agreement
Nigeria has signed a revised Bilateral Air Services Agreement (BASA) with Morocco to strengthen tourism ties and expand flight operations between both countries. Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development Festus Keyamo signed the agreement on behalf of Nigeria during the Global Implementation Support Symposium in Marrakech.
The agreement establishes a modern framework that enhances connectivity, creates opportunities for airlines, and deepens commercial relations between the two nations. It aligns with continental aviation goals while supporting safety, security, environmental sustainability, and boosting trade, tourism, investment flows, and people-to-people exchanges.
This bilateral agreement is expected to expand direct flight options between Nigeria and Morocco, potentially making international travel more accessible and affordable for business travelers, tourists, and migrants. The deal could lead to increased competition among airlines, potentially resulting in better prices and more flight options for passengers traveling between West Africa and North Africa.
Will this agreement influence your travel plans between Nigeria and Morocco, or impact your business operations that rely on air connectivity between these regions?
