Nigerian Army opens online recruitment for 91 Regular Recruits Intake

The Nigerian Army has launched online registration for its 91 Regular Recruits Intake (RRI) for trade and non-trade personnel, running from 30 March to 17 May 2026. Eligible Nigerian citizens must be single, possess a valid National Identity Number (NIN) and Bank Verification Number (BVN), and meet medical, physical, and psychological fitness standards. Educational requirements include a minimum of four credits in WASSCE, GCE, NECO, or NABTEB, including English language, in not more than two sittings. Non-trades applicants must be aged 18-22 years, while trades applicants must not exceed 26 years by 30 June. Minimum height requirements are 1.68m for men and 1.65m for women. Shortlisted candidates will undergo state-based screening from 9-23 June. The process is free, with no pre-selection tests or special recruitment centres.
