Nigerian equities closed the week with a N475 billion decline, marking the fourth consecutive bearish session. The market capitalisation fell from N124.238 trillion to N123.763 trillion, a 0.38% drop. The All-Share Index fell 741.03 points to 192,826.78. Year-to-date returns dropped to 23.91%. Sovereign Trust Insurance led gainers with 9.95% gains, while Mecure was the biggest loser with 9.97% decline. Market activity decreased 5.15% with lower trading volume.
