Nigeria's CcHUB Launches GATEWAY to Train 340K in Digital Skills
Co-creation HUB (CcHUB) Nigeria's first innovation centre has launched GATEWAY, a five-year initiative to train 340,000 young Nigerians in digital skills like digital marketing, graphic design, UI/UX design, and video production. The programme combines training with physical hubs and access to devices/laptops to address gig economy participation gaps. GATEWAY targets 10 Nigerian states (Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Kano, Kaduna, Abuja, Delta, Edo, Rivers, Enugu) with 80% opportunities reserved for women, persons with disabilities, and displaced youth. Participants will build portfolios for gig work, with foundation track (3-6 months) for skill acquisition and growth track (6 weeks-2 months) for application. Registration open now.

This is a very interesting one. We're doing something similar at Omnific Youth Development Initiative. Getting young people trained, and then help them get gigs or start a business.
