NIS extends UK passport intervention to Nov 27 — London, Manchester, Aberdeen, Cardiff dates confirmed
Nigeria Immigration Service has extended its Special Passport Intervention Exercise in the UK until November 27, 2026, following sustained demand. The extension, approved by Interior Minister Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo and announced October 27, adds four weeks to the current phase ending October 30.
Services run November 3–27 at two main centres: London (56–57 Fleet Street, Temple, EC4Y 1JU) and Manchester (Nigerian House, 23 Platt Lane, M14 5NE). Shorter windows in Aberdeen (Hilton Convention Centre, 13 Smithfield Road, AB24 4NR) and Cardiff (Western Leisure Centre, Ely, CF5 5HJ) from November 3–6 only.
Applicants must book via the passport intervention portal or Nigeria High Commission website — only pre-booked applicants will be served. No cash payments at venues. Required: completed application form, payment slips, appointment printout, self-addressed return envelope, and current passport for renewals.
This marks the third extension after earlier deadlines of September 19, October 3, and October 30. The Abuja-deployed intervention team has faced venue changes in London due to "unforeseen technical challenges." For enquiries: email [email protected] or WhatsApp +234 916 087 8000.
If you're in the UK needing passport services, have you booked your slot yet, or will you wait for the next intervention cycle?
