Nollywood actress Regina Daniels loses interest in marriage, wants more children

Nollywood actress Regina Daniels said earlier today she has lost interest in getting married following her highly publicized separation from estranged husband Senator Ned Nwoko. The mother of two boys revealed during a livestream with Tiktoker Jarvis that while she's no longer interested in marriage, she remains committed to having more children, specifically a daughter.

Daniels explained she wants six children total and believes daughters care more for their parents during old age, saying 'women will always remember home' while 'men will focus more on building family.' This statement comes after Daniels and Nwoko's controversial marriage ended in late 2025 following allegations of substance abuse made by Nwoko, which Daniels denied while accusing him of manipulation, psychological control, and abuse. The couple married in 2019 when Daniels was 19 and Nwoko was 59, sparking public outrage over their 40-year age gap.

Daniels has maintained her single status since moving into her own house after the separation. Her focus now appears to be on expanding her family without the legal and social commitments of marriage.
