NSCDC Deploys 2,280 Personnel In Kwara For Easter

Photo: Facebook/Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps   The Kwara State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has deployed 2,280 personnel across the state to ensure a peaceful and secure Easter celebration. According to him, the deployment is aimed at preventing any breakdown of law and order during the festive period and curbing the activities of miscreants. He assured residents that NSCDC operatives would maintain a strong and visible presence at churches, recreational centres, motor parks, shopping complexes, and other critical locations to deter criminal activities. The Commandant added that surveillance and patrol operations had been intensified in both urban and rural areas, with tactical units and rapid response teams placed on standby to address any security threats. He warned that anyone planning to disrupt public peace during the Easter celebrations would be promptly arrested and made to face the full weight of the law. While extending Easter greetings to Christians, the Commandant urged residents to embrace the values of love, sacrifice and peaceful coexistence, and to cooperate with security agencies to ensure a safe and hitch-free celebration.
