Sponsored content: OPay, in partnership with Google and the Federal Government’s 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT) programme, has announced the top 10 teams advancing to the Boot Camp stage of its National Innovation Challenge, which offers a total prize pool of ₦18 million. The challenge attracted over 11,000 students forming 2,200 teams; after a rigorous selection, 48 teams completed a six-week employability webinar to build workplace-relevant skills, and the top 10 emerged: Lyrclip (Miva Open University), ResearchFlow (Olabisi Onabanjo University), CampusCheck (Federal University, Oye-Ekiti), Veripay (MOAUM, Benue State University), CoursePass (Lagos State University of Science and Technology), Teamcobuild (Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka), Verified Hands (Ahmadu Bello University), SkoolConnectNG (Yaba College of Technology), Thrifty (Ahmadu Bello University), and Team Paye (Adeleke University). These teams will now work with experienced mentors and industry professionals during an intensive Boot Camp to refine their solutions before the final stage. Exceptional performers from the webinar stage may also be considered for the OPay Futures pipeline, offering up to three-month internships with OPay and partner organisations. The initiative aims to equip young Nigerians with practical skills, mentorship, and pathways to opportunities that can create lasting impact.
