Osimhen scored twice to rescue Galatasaray from defeat as they were held to a 2-2 draw by newly promoted Çorum in the opening day of the 2026/27 Süper Lig season at RAMS Park. Çorum had taken a surprising 2-1 lead through Alexandros Kyziridis' long-range effort (59th minute) and Jesús Ramírez capitalizing on a defensive mistake from Davinson Sánchez (61st minute), before Kyziridis was sent off for a reckless challenge seven minutes later.
