Osimhen praises Juventus after Galatasaray exit
Victor Osimhen commended Juventus for their performance after both teams' UEFA Champions League Round of 16 playoff second leg on Wednesday. The Serie A giants won 3-2 in the second leg after losing 5-2 in the first leg, but exited the competition on aggregate (7-5). Speaking to CBS Sports, Osimhen expressed disappointment in his team's performance while acknowledging Juventus deserved the win. He stated, 'I'm disappointed in the whole team's performance... Juventus deserved the win, but I am happy we qualified for the next round.' Osimhen also noted the need for improvement in knockout stage play to challenge top teams.
