The meeting is taking place in Abuja. Turaki also confirmed that there are positive signs that the two PDP factions are getting close to a truce The Abdulrahman Mohamed-led caretaker committee of the PDP, which is backed by Wike, had also said it is open to reconciliation. The faction however listed some conditions, insisting that its planned national convention, scheduled for 29th and 30th march, must hold. Those present at the ongoing meeting include Turaki, Wabara, former governor of Niger State, Babangida Aliyu, former governor of Kano State, Ibrahim Shekarau, and a former information minister, Prof. Jerry Gana.
