Poco Lee appears with Burna Boy in first video since UK custody release, court date set
Poco Lee (Iweh Odinaka), the Nigerian dancer and hypeman, appeared in a video with Burna Boy shared by activist Martins Otse (VeryDarkMan) on Saturday, marking his first public appearance since reports of his release from UK custody. The dancer faces five sexual offence charges stemming from an alleged incident on July 23, 2026 in Tower Hamlets, east London: one count of attempted rape, two counts of rape, and two counts of assault by penetration. Poco Lee first appeared before Thames Magistrates' Court on August 18 after traveling to the UK for the Davido and Friends concert at Crystal Palace Bowl on August 14. His detention became public through confirmation by Benjamin Kuti (Oluomo of Derby), founder of the Community of Nigerians in the UK.
