The police said the team used carried out a swift operation that led to the recovery of the stolen vehicle from an uncompleted building in Dutse Local Government Area of Jigawa State. “The stolen vehicle was successfully recovered through intelligence-led investigation and swift tactical operation,” the statement said. During the operation, three suspects believed to be part of an interstate car theft network were arrested. They were identified as Shuaibu Abdullahi, 37, from Gombe State; Shuaibu Zakariya, 24, from Bauchi State; and Abdurahman Ibrahim, 35, from Deba Local Government Area of Gombe State. Police said the suspects are currently in custody and have made useful statements, adding that investigations are ongoing and they will be charged in court once the process is completed. The Commissioner of Police commended the officers involved in the operation for their professionalism and swift response.
