Police Constable Exam Begins April 28 Nationwide

The Police Service Commission (PSC) and Nigeria Police Force (NPF) will conduct written examinations for Police Constable recruitment from April 28-30, 2026. The exam applies to both General Duty and Specialist positions nationwide.

Only candidates who successfully passed physical and credential screening are eligible to participate. Qualified applicants must visit www.npfapplication.psc.gov.ng from Friday, April 24, to Monday, April 26, 2026, to print their Examination Invitation Card showing specific test date, time and venue.

Required exam materials include a pen, National Identification Number (NIN) slip with clear photograph, printed exam card, and white shorts, T-shirt, and canvas shoes. The Commission emphasized the recruitment is entirely free and warned that job racketeering, scams, or financial inducement will face legal consequences.

With approximately 10,000 applicants expected across 36 states and FCT, this exam represents the final stage before final selections. Applicants who pass will advance to the next phase of the recruitment process.
