In a press statement issued by the Command’s spokesperson on Wednesday in Jalingo, ASP Victor Mshelizah, authorities explained that the matter stems from multiple petitions and complaints submitted by concerned individuals, which necessitated Imam’s input to aid investigations. According to the statement, the police had earlier invited Imam for questioning in line with the constitutional responsibilities of the Nigeria Police Force.
