Osoba had been open about her cancer journey. In November 2024, she appealed for financial assistance after undergoing her first breast cancer surgery. She announced in August 2025 that she had beaten the disease and was recovering, thanking her new management team and expressing excitement about rebuilding her acting career. The actress, who graduated from Olabisi Onabanjo University in Ogun State, began her career in 2005 with her first role in "Ijoya" and rose to prominence in 2009 with Dayo Amusa's "Ogun Mi." She also appeared in films like "Ifedolapo," "Accident" and "Gucci Girls," plus music videos for Pasuma, Olu Maintain, and Adewale Ayuba.

Her death marks the end of a prolonged fight with illness she had publicly shared to inspire others facing similar health challenges.
