Presco Plc, a palm oil producer, has appointed Adewale Arikawe as non-executive director effective January 2, 2026. He fills a casual vacancy left by Felix Nwabuko, who retired after several years on the board. Nwabuko made significant contributions to Presco and its parent company SIAT NV.

Arikawe was also appointed Group Chief Executive Officer of SIAT, giving him oversight of all subsidiaries including Presco Plc, SIAT Nigeria Limited, and Ghana Oil Palm Development Company Limited. He will work with existing leadership teams to strengthen execution, accelerate strategic growth, and promote high-performance culture. His focus includes developing leadership capacity, empowering teams, and delivering sustainable results.

Arikawe brings over 26 years of experience in general management, commercial strategy, sales, and brand management. He previously held senior leadership roles at Royal FrieslandCampina (overseeing sub-Saharan Africa operations) and FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria. He also worked at Nestlé Nigeria Plc, managing multi-channel sales operations and contributing to key growth initiatives. He holds an MBA from the University of Chichester and completed executive education at London Business School and IMD in Lausanne.

The board welcomed his appointment and reiterated appreciation for Nwabuko's enduring legacy.
