Presco Plc has appointed Adewale Arikawe as a non-executive director effective January 2, 2026, filling a casual vacancy left by Felix Nwabuko's retirement after several years on the board. In a notice to NGX, the palm oil producer confirmed Nwabuko's departure and thanked him for his service and leadership.

Arikawe was simultaneously appointed Group Chief Executive Officer of SIAT NV, Presco's parent company, with oversight of all subsidiaries including SIAT Nigeria Limited and Ghana Oil Palm Development Company Limited. He will work with existing leadership teams to strengthen execution, accelerate strategic growth, and build a high-performance culture focused on leadership development and sustainable results.

With over 26 years in general management, commercial strategy, sales, and brand management, Arikawe previously held senior roles at Royal FrieslandCampina (sub-Saharan Africa operations), FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria, and Nestlé Nigeria Plc, where he managed multi-channel sales operations. He holds an MBA from the University of Chichester and completed executive education at London Business School and IMD Lausanne. The board reiterated appreciation for Nwabuko's enduring legacy.
