Primate Ayodele Warns: Rigging 2027 Election Will Curse Your Generation
Primate Elijah Ayodele of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church has warned INEC officials, politicians, NYSC members and security operatives that any attempt to rig the 2027 general election will bring a curse on their generation and those after. In a video message, he said, "If you’re a politician, INEC official, NYSC member or security operative, and you ever take a step to rig the 2027 election, your generation after generation will be cursed."
Ayodele described the 2027 poll as a chance to “remodify Nigeria” and stressed that Nigerians are exhausted by years of political failure. He noted he has no affiliation with any political party but will continue to speak on election matters based on his observations. The warning comes as the country prepares to vote next year for leaders who will serve four‑year terms.
The cleric also warned that the 2027 election could trigger bloodshed if malpractice occurs, adding urgency to his call for integrity. His message targets everyone involved in the electoral process, from those who administer the vote to those who serve in the national youth corps and security agencies.
