Primate Ayodele warns Tinubu: Trump plotting to remove you from office
Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has warned President Bola Tinubu that US President Donald Trump is plotting to remove him from office.
In a statement released by his media aide Osho Oluwatosin on January 4, 2026, the cleric claimed Trump has already "caged" Tinubu and is using US support for Nigeria's anti-insecurity efforts as a cover to penetrate his government.
"America will be part of those who will be against Tinubu," Ayodele stated, alleging Trump's true focus isn't ending Nigeria's security challenges but orchestrating Tinubu's removal.
The prophet urged Tinubu to take bold political steps to counter these alleged plans, warning that failure to develop effective strategies would leave the President vulnerable and his potential defeat celebrated by opponents.
