PUBG Mobile drops Vampire Hunters update, Magixx collab, PMNC Nigeria 2026 champs

PUBG Mobile has released Version 4.6, introducing the Vampire Hunters theme and a partnership with Nigerian Afro-pop star Magixx. From September 24 to October 23, players can join the Unlock Magixx Style event by logging in, completing missions, and playing matches to earn free rewards including a Magixx Avatar Frame, Voice Pack, Lobby Music, and an exclusive outfit/skin. The update also brings new gameplay features tied to the supernatural battleground.

On September 13, the PUBG Mobile National Championship (PMNC) Nigeria 2026 finals concluded with Team Pride emerging victorious. Players Begho (Oluwadamilola Oladele), Kwila Obadiah, Chico (Maude Usman), and Finish (Farid Mahri) shared the $3,000 cash prize, while Begho was named tournament MVP. Neon Outlaws and Tribe Warriors finished as first and second runners-up. The win qualifies Team Pride to represent Nigeria at PMGO Africa.

The tournament featured sponsorships from Infinix (GT 50 Pro smartphones), oraimo (lifestyle accessories), and itel (air conditioners), highlighting the growing intersection of gaming, technology, music, and youth culture in Nigeria.

To benefit, update or download PUBG Mobile now, participate in the Magixx event before October 23 to claim rewards, and follow Team Pride’s journey to the continental stage. This event offers both entertainment and a glimpse into viable careers in Nigeria’s expanding esports ecosystem.
