Speaking during the institution’s second matriculation ceremony held on Friday, Oyewale emphasised the importance of discipline and dedication in the health profession. The profession you are entering deals directly with human lives.” He added, “Therefore, it is not just a career but a calling. You must be disciplined, focused, and committed to excellence.” The rector advised the students to shun any form of distraction that could derail their academic progress within the institution. “Avoid distractions that may derail your academic journey. Embrace integrity, diligence, and respect for constituted authority,” he stated. Oyewale also highlighted the college’s commitment to maintaining quality assurance, curriculum standardisation, and regulatory compliance. He said these measures have positioned the institution as an emerging hub for excellence in health technology education. Also speaking, the Chairman of the Governing Council, Dr Mustapha Olawuyi, congratulated the students on their admission and urged them to uphold discipline. Olawuyi warned that acts of indiscipline and misconduct would not be tolerated by the institution’s authorities. “The Governing Council remains committed to ensuring that this institution maintains high academic and moral standards,” he said. He added that the council would continue to provide the necessary support, policies, and oversight to ensure quality education and a conducive learning environment.
