The incident, which occurred on Sunday, involved a Lexus Jeep with registration number SMK 674 HY that reportedly struck the victim, an adult male, resulting in his death at the scene. According to the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, LASTMA, the severity of the impact led to the victim’s instant death. In a statement issued by the agency’s Director of Public Affairs and Enlightenment, Adebayo Taofiq, LASTMA operatives were promptly deployed to the scene to manage the situation and prevent traffic disruption. The officials secured the area and removed the remains from the roadway to facilitate the smooth flow of vehicles. Police personnel from the Ketu Division later transported the body to the Badagry Mortuary, while preliminary investigations have commenced to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
