Arise TV's Rufai Oseni says Nyesom Wike's political influence is now shaping APC decisions at the national level, warning governors in states where Wike has interests to stay alert. The comment came Friday on Arise's Morning Show amid a court ruling sacking Governor Hope Uzodimma as APC's 2027 Imo West senatorial candidate and declaring former governor Rochas Okorocha the rightful nominee.

Oseni pointed to conflicting claims: Wike says President Tinubu endorsed his "rainbow coalition" strategy, while Uzodimma insists Tinubu directed them to deliver APC victories. "It just means that it is Wike that has the closest proximity to the president as we speak today," Oseni said. He argued Wike's coalition effect has spread beyond Rivers and now influences APC calculations nationwide, giving Wike more political weight than governors like Ademola Adeleke (Osun) and Chukwuma Soludo (Anambra).

The Imo court decision underscores the stakes: Uzodimma can still challenge, but the rainbow coalition's role in candidate selection signals shifting power centers. Oseni's warning is direct—governors in Wike's orbit shouldn't underestimate his reach.

If you're in a state where Wike has political investments, are you tracking how federal appointments and party structures are shifting—or waiting to react?
