Russian drone kills 14 at Dnipro train station as Ukraine attacks intensify
A Russian drone slammed into a busy platform at Dnipro railway station Thursday morning, killing at least 14 people and wounding 14 others in what President Zelensky called a "horrific" attack. Zelensky linked the escalation to the recent Trump-Putin deal easing sanctions on Russian energy exports, asking how many terrorist strikes have occurred since sanctions relief instead of de-escalation.
Russia has intensified drone and missile attacks on energy infrastructure ahead of winter. Both sides prepare for US-mediated talks next month, though previous rounds failed over Russia's territorial demands and military restrictions on Kyiv. French President Macron called the station strike "intolerable" and demanded more than localized ceasefires.
