SIAT Group celebrates legacy and leadership at Forward event in August 2026
SIAT Group held its SIAT Forward event on Friday, August 21, 2026, under theme "Legacy, Leadership & the Future," bringing together founding family, retired directors, board members, executives, financial partners and stakeholders to honor the Vandebeeck family’s entrepreneurial vision and reflect on the group’s history since acquiring Presco in Nigeria in 1991 and expanding to Ghana’s GOPDC in 1995.
The event highlighted SIAT’s growth into an integrated agriculture business operating across Africa, employing over 17,000 people and supporting thousands of smallholder farmers. Leaders like RASHEED SARUMI, MARIE VANDEBEECH and ADEWALE ARIKAWE stressed the continuity of vision, the responsibility to build bigger, bolder impact, and the role of persistence, investment and belief in the future that built the group’s DNA.
